I started leather working over 40 years ago creating custom products for amusement parks. This experience led to a stint with Disney World, and contract work for advertising agencies and corporations. I have designed and produced hundreds of various items over this period of time. One of the products inspired a process for a method of imprinting line art in leather. It is a Gutenberg style printing where each item is hand printed using a 25 ton press that deboss the art permanently into the leather. I use a staining process that highlights the artwork, making each item special. I also finish the edges of the leather.
For the wildlife items, I commissioned original artwork, from several artist that specialized in pen and ink drawing.
